Due to a series of obstacles such as the political situation and the pandemic, Phase 2 did not take place for the Matanzas group on a timely manner. We did keep in touch using what’s ap and helped as much as we could using the digital platform. In 2022 Co-founder Maria Rosa Romero had to travel to Cuba for a serious family matter, during those trips she effectively gathered the students and continue the teachings. In every class a subject was reviewed and deepened, and a clinic set up for the students to treat each other and practice. Case studies were reviewed and analyzed. In every trip Maria Rosa also brought them much needed acupuncture supplies. Those trips took place in February, March, and April of 2022. With each class the group got reinforced, a new community of Health Care Promoters is being cemented in Matanzas. We are now studying the logistics to go back and teach the 2 remaining Phases.
